Agistix rolls out all-in-one logistics software platform
Redwood City, Calif.-based logistics software provider Agistix Inc. Monday announced the rollout of Agistix Spring ’07, logistics management software designed to help companies control logistics costs by providing end-to-end visibility into all their shipments.
The software offers advanced automation; provides a single Web-based interface to manage inbound and outbound, multimodal shipments of all sizes, domestically and internationally; and offers versatile reporting capabilities to provide users a comprehensive view of their transportation system.
The system also provides for the management of multiple carriers, across multiple modes on a global basis.
The Spring ’07 platform automates the shipping process from shipment preparation, bidding, bid comparisons and shipment scheduling, to shipment execution, documentation, track and trace, vendor relationship/contract management and shipment settlement.
