French line CMA CGM is later this month adding a U.S. call in Miami to its weekly Brazil Caribbean Express (BRAZEX) service.
The 1,730-TEU vessel "CMA CGM Paulista" will make the first call at the South Florida port on March 23.
The revised BRAZEX will deploy five ships of about 1,700 TEUs with a port rotation of Paranagua, Sao Francisco do Sul, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Port of Spain, Puerto Cabello, Cartagena, Miami, Kingston, Sao Francisco do Sul, and back to Paranagua.
